Brevo Landing Page Alternative for Lead Magnets

Brevo can host a lead magnet page, but landing pages are not part of its Free or Starter plans, and the Standard plan includes one page at the time of writing. If you already send email through Brevo and one page is enough, its builder is a sensible place to start. A dedicated lead magnet page tool makes more sense when you want several pages, templates written for your trade or a page that stays the same when you change email platform. This post covers what Brevo offers today, where a dedicated page differs and how to move across.

Can Brevo host a lead magnet page?

Yes, on the right plan. Brevo is a marketing platform covering email, SMS, automation and a sales CRM, and its landing page feature lets you build standalone campaign pages with a drag and drop editor, starting from a template or from scratch. Brevo's help centre explains that pages are created from the Marketing menu, under Landing pages, and can include a signup form that adds contacts to your Brevo lists.

Because the form feeds Brevo directly, a new signup can trigger an automation straight away, such as an email that delivers the resource and starts a welcome series.

What Brevo does well

Brevo is a broad platform at a modest starting price. Email, SMS and transactional messages sit in one account, and Brevo's pricing page lists marketing automation with unlimited multi-step workflows on the Standard plan. For a business that wants to send a sequence after every download, having the list and the automation next to the form is genuinely convenient.

Its pricing model is also worth noting. Brevo's plans are priced by the number of emails you send each month, so the cost follows how much you send, which can suit businesses that email less often.

The free plan is generous for sending. At the time of writing, Brevo's pricing page says a free account can send up to 300 emails a day once it is approved for sending. That makes Brevo a practical way to send follow-up emails for a small lead magnet, even if the page itself lives elsewhere.

Brevo pricing at the time of writing

At the time of writing (October 2026), Brevo's pricing page lists these marketing plans:

  • Free: no landing pages.
  • Starter: $9 a month on monthly billing, from 5,000 emails a month, with forms but no landing pages.
  • Standard: $18 a month on monthly billing, or $16.17 a month paid yearly, which adds marketing automation, A/B testing and landing pages, with 1 page included.
  • Professional: $499 a month on monthly billing, from 150,000 emails a month.
  • Enterprise: custom pricing.

Prices rise with your monthly email volume. For a lead magnet page, the practical point is that you need the Standard plan or above, and that plan includes one landing page.

Where a dedicated lead magnet page differs

A dedicated lead magnet page tool like Gatedleads does a narrower job than Brevo. It does not send campaigns, SMS or automations. It builds and hosts the page that offers a resource and collects an email for it, and it delivers the file.

More than one page without changing your email plan. Gatedleads Pro is $29 a month for unlimited pages, and the Free plan includes one page. If you want a different lead magnet for each audience or each service, you can publish them all without moving to a larger email plan.

Starting points written for your trade. Gatedleads has 500+ templates arranged by niche and format, such as a mistakes list for accountants or a decision guide for kitchen fitters, each with sample copy in that trade's language. A general template saves layout work, but a trade template also saves most of the writing.

Independence from your email platform. Your pages and leads stay in Gatedleads, so a future change of email tool does not mean rebuilding your lead magnet pages. You can export leads as a CSV at any time, and on Pro, Zapier can send each new lead into Brevo as it arrives.

Lead sources in one place. Each lead records where it came from, including UTM tags, so you can see which channel brought each signup.

This is a difference in scope rather than quality. Brevo is built to send messages well, while a dedicated tool is built to make the page well.

Who should stay with Brevo

Stay with Brevo for your lead magnet page if you are already on the Standard plan, you only need one page and you want the signup to start an automation without any connection to set up. That is a tidy arrangement with nothing extra to pay for.

Brevo also makes sense if SMS, WhatsApp or its sales CRM are central to how you follow up, since a page tool will not replace those.

Who might prefer a dedicated page

A dedicated page tool tends to suit people who:

  • are on Brevo's Free or Starter plan and do not otherwise need the Standard plan;
  • want more than one lead magnet page live at once;
  • would like a template written for their trade rather than a blank layout;
  • want their pages to stay put if they change email platform later.

A common setup is to keep Brevo for sending and use a dedicated page for the lead magnet. We describe the same arrangement with another email tool in our Mailchimp landing page alternative post and with GetResponse in our GetResponse landing page alternative post.

How to move a lead magnet page across

  1. Choose a Gatedleads template in the same format as your current lead magnet, and replace the sample copy with your own.
  2. Upload the file you deliver today, so it is sent as soon as someone signs up.
  3. Publish the page and test it with your own email address.
  4. Connect it to Brevo. On Pro, use Zapier to add each new lead to the right Brevo list, so your existing automation still runs. Our lead magnet Zapier integration guide covers the steps. On the Free plan, export leads as a CSV and import them into Brevo.
  5. Update the links in your emails, social profiles and website.

If you have not set up email software yet, running a lead magnet without email marketing software explains how far you can get with the page alone.

Getting started

A page made from a template can be live in under 10 minutes, and the Free plan includes one page, so you can test a lead magnet before changing anything in Brevo. Create your first lead magnet page free and let Brevo carry on sending the emails.
